The Perfect Patch

I've been collecting patches to put on a jean jacket for about a year now.. I didn't want to rush it because I wanted there to be a story or meaning behind every one, but because I was too impatient to wait for my jacket to accumulate the ideal number of patches, I opted to palliate my impatience with this skirt. I loved the length, it's not everyday a girl in high school wears a knee length jean skirt... I then added the pajama shirt (which is actually a dress) to continue the more playful tone, topping it off with my snakeskin loafers. No jewelry was needed with a skirt like this, each patch a little accessory of its own. School is almost over, and you can tell I don't care because I don't take off my pajamas.. Style on little birds.

Mama Mia

Is it weird that one of the reasons I want to become a parent is to wear mom jeans? Well since Leandra Medine makes them look so cool. I also wanted a pair of jeans that weren't "attractive" to guys, and match them with the shoes to set off the bagginess of the jeans and add a little sexiness to the outfit. I'm not a feminist by any means.. I love pink, wearing dresses, and having a man treat me like a lady, but I don't believe in women having to wear skinny jeans, high heels, and push up bras. Anyway back on point, I've been looking for a good pair of high-waisted jeans for a long time, and finally found a pair that were the right size and were high-waisted enough. At first I didn't think that they were tight enough, but realized they aren't supposed to be, so I bought them for $3 at Goodwill (my go to store). I initially had this flamboyant outfit picked out, but decided to go with this simple tee and amp it up with the jewelry! The necklace, which I wore to prom, had the right amount of sparkle to make this outfit a little more feminine. At school, a lot of people said that they liked the mom jeans, but who cares! I love them, so I'm wearing them! Overall I think it turned out quite well, and won't wait til I'm a mother to hop on the "mom jeans train."

And a special debut from Chaucer.
