For the second installment of Get to Know, we will take a look at blogger Elizabeth Hawn's style and take on fashion. To see more of her, check out her amazing blog, Atlanta State of Mind.
Style Icon: Blake Lively and Lupita Nyong'o
Favorite Designer: I think Marchesa makes beautiful evening dresses, but for everyday wear, Burberry.
Favorite Trend or style: The "Mise en Dior" earrings. They are so cool. I have the BaubleBar version of the earring.
One thing you can't live without: I don't think I would be able to live without my computer, especially with blogging. It would be very hard to do that without one.
Why do you love fashion: Fashion is my self expression. Instead of painting or drawing, fashion is my art form.
Explain your style aesthetic: Definitely a mix of different styles. I would say a mix of polished, classic, glam, and urban. It depends in the day and what I am feeling that day.
What's on your wish list right now?: I have a feeling this will never be off my list, but a classic Chanel quilted bag, and also these J. Crew earrings. I love a good pair of statement earrings.
One person (dead or alive) you would like to have lunch with: I would love to have lunch with Tim Gunn. He seems like such an interesting character!
Fashion celebrity you would like to shadow: I would want to shadow Emma Watson. I loved the Harry Potter movies and she always looks so cute.
What city/place can you see yourself living in?: I could see myself living in New York City. It's filled with so many different people and opportunities.
Favorite Movie: I always have trouble with this question. There are so many movies I like. I just watched The Way, Way Back which I really liked. The Blind Side is also a movie I really enjoy.
Favorite Book: I think that "Mrs. Dalloway" is a really great work of literary fiction.
If you were a shoe, what type would you be?: I would probably be some type of wedge. I love to wear wedges because they are so much easier to walk in than heels, but still give you the height.
Most treasured possession: I'm not sure if I can decide on a most prized possession in general, but in my jewelry collection it is definitely a David Yurman ring that my dad just bought me. I wear it everyday!
this is so great! thanks so much for featuring me:)
